Anyone else tired of Rey Mysterio?
I am just completely sick of seeing Rey Mysterio in a wrestling ring. You want to talk about Cena and his 5 moves of doom, well, for me it's the same thing with the original lawn dart.
If only Nash would have done the job right in WCW when he launched Rey into the side of a trailer on Nitro.
Sigh!

To be fair to Rey Rey he has another knee injury and is wrestling through the pain. In saying that he's been having some good matches.

I've been tired of Rey since 2006. Thats not to say he still cant do it in the ring though, as Vegas said hes fighting through injuries and still can manage to put on decent matches.
Im just tired of Rey being in the main event scene. Hes always the 'underdog', and even though he can put on some good matches, I still just dont like watching him in the ring or on the mic.

in my mind, Mysterio was 10x better in WCW, and in WWE he should NOT be in the main event scene, not when it's lined up front to back with guys that are a foot taller than him. Wrestling is supposed to have a dash of realism to it, and a guy who is 5'5 or 5'6 isn't standing a chance against anyone the size of who Rey is almost always booked against. Not without being a master of some form of martial arts or something like that anyways.
Not to mention the injuries that he's endured over the past decade and a half. His body is worn down and he can't do any of the things that made him exciting in the first place, which makes it even worse. So am I tired of seeing Mysterio? Yeah, but unlike other people, I understand why I think like that, and understand why he is the way he is.

Mysterio should never have been the champion, I agree. His role currently is perfect. When they need him he steps up to the main event and makes his bigger opponent look strong.
Ideally Mysterio will have a few more midcard feuds, like he did with Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison and help elevate the mid card. Before he hangs up his boots (given his knees, that can't be too far off).

I've been sick of Rey Mysterio since he got a main event push. I just don't see him on that level. He's good in the ring...very good, I'll give him that, but he belongs in the mid card.

I loved him winning the title in 2006, but his reign was a fluke alright. It was good that he had a World Title, but I would agree with you here.

I also liked Rey-Rey winnin' the belt back in 2006, but in my opinion the booking fucked that reign up more than Rey-Rey did.
Now am I tired of Rey Mysterio. Well i'm not tired of seein' him compete, but I am a bit tired of him in the main event as now days, I feel like he doesn't belong there. Now days he should be a mid-carder who not only occasionally wins the IC Belt or US Belt, but more importantly, he should be there to put over the younger talent like Morrison, Ziggler, etc.

Rey Mysterio has been a mid-carder for a wild except WWE still see fit to push him because he brings in the kids.
I was hoping we'd get a break from him because he was supposed to be having knee surgery. He should take his mask off IMO.
